Hi ladies! I have waited two weeks to post on here because it still feels too good to be true. This board helped me this month because I really felt I was pregnant even though I got a BFN at first. It gave me hope that I needed after getting negatives for the last 9 cycles. Let me say prior that my hubby and I did nothing special except count out the days from my period. We put our faith in God and trusted that we would be blessed with a baby in His time. Don't get me wrong, it was not an easy 9 months, we had many trials, he had been tested and I was due for hormone testing 5 days after our BFP, but it just makes us appreciate this precious little nugget even more. So here are my symptoms the best I can remember them, because we did not use an OPK the dpo are an estimate based on ovulation pain and when we Bd'd.
-4 dpo: I was VERY bloated and constipated. This was a new symptom for me, even with my period I typically don't get bloated
-9 dpo: some fatigue but nothing extreme
dpo: fatigue, swollen gums, and AF like cramps on the right side of the abdomen
dpo: fatigue, cramps
dpo: cramps, gassy, and bad hives (I get hives prior to AF but not like this, but I was sure AF was on her way)
dpo: cramps, gassy, mentally "feeling" pregnant, gagged on a turkey sandwich, woke up at 4 am to pee - took a pregnancy test BFN this is two days before missed period. Hubby and I both really thought I was pregnant
dpo: cramps, gassy, woke up at 4 am to pee, VERY EMOTIONAL- cried a lot because of disappointment- thought it was PMS at this point
dpo: cramps, gassy, woke up at 4 am to pee, AF scheduled to arrive, but did not show. My hopes still aren't up because I am typically a 26 day cycle so I don't consider it missed until day 29
dpo: cramps, slight nausea around lunch, woke up at 4 am to pee; took a FRPT with FMU and negative, double checked an hour later and saw something so faint my sister still swears nothing was there. I thought it was an evap. line. I took THREE more tests that day all so faint I refused get excited.
dpo: woke up at 4 am to pee took two tests one negative one faint positive. cramps and lots of nausea after lunch, very tired
dpo: cramps, gassy, fatigue took a digital test with afternoon urine- PREGNANT finally overjoyed!
I am now six weeks pregnant and still having off and on cramps and stretching so for those of you who think that cramps are a definitive of AF don't throw in the towel just yet. Baby dust to all!
